(Betty Friedan) Touchmark at Harwood Groves is Fargo's leading full-service retirement community, enriching the lives of residents and their families through five-star hospitality, services and amenities. We are currently seeking individuals who specialize in group yoga exercise instruction. In this role, you will help plan, design, and lead group exercise classes for aging adults at varying levels of physical ability in our beautiful, 14,000 square foot health and fitness club. You will have the unique opportunity every day to energize and motivate club members - the opportunity to be an ally, a friend, and a giver. Club membership is open to Touchmark residents and employees, as well as adults aged 50 and over in the greater community, and members enjoy a wide range of activities and classes that can positively affect age-related conditions and encourage lifelong health and wellness. All programs are tailored to individual levels of ability, skill, and personal fitness goals. A long list of amenities is also offered, including an indoor heated pool, a group exercise studio, one-on-one personal training, a fully equipped fitness studio, massage therapy, and a NeuroCom Balance Master system. Requirements: A commitment to Touchmark's values (excellence, teamwork, hospitality, integrity, and compassion), as well as a desire to model these values and to encourage others to be allies, friends and givers Four-year degree, equivalent experience or certification preferred but not necessary A genuine interest in working with adults (age 50+) to help them achieve their physical fitness goals Experience instructing group exercise classes in the format that your certification is in Experience working with aging adults and/or special fitness populations A positive, upbeat, and energetic approach to health, wellness, teamwork, and hospitality Current CPR/First Aid/AED certification, or be willing to obtain upon hire Benefits: On-call and temporary employees are not eligible to participate in employee benefits or insurance plans.
