HX5 is currently seeking a Systems Integrator to join the team with NASA at Johnson Space Center (JSC).
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
The Systems Integrator will:
Understands complex systems, particularly interfaces and interdependencies
Able to apply model-based systems engineering best practices to developing models of systems Experienced developing interface control documents
Experienced with software development and architectures Experienced with autonomous systems
Perform other duties as required
Education andExperience

Bachelor's Degree in engineering from an ABET-accredited engineering school and at least eight (8) years of relevant experience. License and certification may be required.
Experience with software verification and validation processes Experience with complex distributed systems
Experience with developing software using C/C++ in a Linux environment Experience with requirements management
tools such as DOORS NG Experience with web-based collaboration tools
Preferences
Experience with tools such as, Confluence, Gitlab, JIRA, MS Teams, Slack, SharePoint Strong evidence of success in
highly collaborative projects/environments
Ability to succeed in fast-paced environments
Must be flexible, open to new challenges in a dynamic environment
Possess strong technical expertise combined with verbal and written communication skills Ability to manage multiple priorities with little supervision
Must be a highly responsible, team-oriented individual with strong work ethic Must have highly developed coordination and organization skills
Excellent communicator, particularly written communication and visual diagram creation Scripting languages such as Python
Agile software development
NASA software and systems development standards
NASA Gateway Spacecraft systems and software including the Core Flight System (CFS)software infrastructure
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position and offers a 9/80 work schedule (every other Friday off).
Work Environment:
Generally, an office environment, but can involve inside or outside work depending on task.
Equipment and Machines - Standard office equipment (PC, telephone, printer, etc.).
Physical Requirements:
Work may involve sitting or standing for extended periods (90% of time).
May require lifting and carrying up to 25 lbs. (5% of time).
Other Position Requirements:
Proof of U.S. Citizenship or US Permanent Residency is a requirement for this position.
Must be able to complete a U.S. government background investigation.
