We are seeking a seasoned Power BI and Azure Data professional to join our team in a full-time, hybrid role based in Dallas. The ideal candidate will play a key role in driving the transition to a modern data platform and enabling data democratization across the organization. This role requires a strong blend of technical proficiency, architectural understanding, and business acumen.

Responsibilities

Data Visualization and Administration

• Define, design, develop, and maintain scalable Power BI data models and visualizations.
• Utilize Power BI Premium capabilities, XMLA Endpoints, and Tabular Editor 3 to implement advanced data modeling techniques.
• Develop and maintain complex DAX formulas, Power Query (M), and T-SQL queries.
• Apply Row-Level Security (RLS) and Object-Level Security (OLS) aligned with compliance and PII requirements.
• Create and support Power Apps for bi-directional workflows, including communication and contract management.
• Provide guidance on Power BI workspace deployment, security best practices, and user access mapping.

Data Engineering

• Integrate and manage data from diverse sources, including SQL Server, Azure SQL, Excel, SharePoint Lists/Libraries, Dataverse, APIs, and unstructured data.
• Build and support ETL pipelines and contribute to data warehouse development using modern Azure tools.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines for Power BI reports and datasets to support efficient version control and deployment.

Collaboration and Strategy

• Partner with subject matter experts to capture reporting requirements in often ambiguous or complex business environments.
• Contribute to strategic discussions to align data initiatives with business objectives.
• Provide technical and architectural guidance to internal teams to ensure high-quality analytics delivery.
• Support Azure tenant administration including guest access, domain and IP verification policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of relevant experience in Business Intelligence and data engineering.
• Expertise in Power BI, including data modeling, security, CI/CD pipelines, and visual design.
• Proficient with Azure services such as Azure Data Lake, Azure SQL, and API integration.
• Experience implementing and managing RLS/OLS and compliance-aligned data governance strategies.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Graph and Azure Lists a plus.
• Knowledge of D365 Finance and Operations data structures is preferred.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate technical details into business context.
