Job Description

Innovative Driven is currently seeking a Senior Litigation Paralegal to join the dynamic team at a vibrant and forward-thinking NYC boutique law firm! With offices in Los Angeles, Silicon Valley, and NYC, the firm is poised for tremendous growth in support of its corporate clients.

The position will be onsite, Monday-Friday, 9 am-5 pm in the firm's 5th Avenue office!

Candidates must have at least 5 years of solid complex commercial litigation and eDiscovery experience, preferably from a large, global law firm.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate and manage complex litigation matters across multiple jurisdictions (primarily CA and NY federal courts).
  • Manage deadlines and workflow for complex matters
  • Index, file, and maintain documents within iManage and SharePoint document libraries.
  • Draft, review, and finalize written discovery requests and responses (interrogatories, requests for production, requests for admission).
  • Collect, organize, and review documents for production
  • Scan, label, and Bates stamp, as needed
  • Upload and manage data in eDiscovery platforms (e.g., Relativity, Logikcull)
  • Perform targeted searches within Relativity, apply redactions, and prepare privilege logs as needed. Coordinate with outside vendors for larger-scale document productions
  • Assist attorneys with proofreading and finalizing pleadings, motions, and related court documents
  • Ensure filings are in compliance with federal, state, and local rules (e.g., Southern District of New York, Central District of California).
  • Assist in cite-checking and applying correct Bluebook formatting to briefs, motions, and other filings.
  • Remain up to date with federal and state rules and procedures
  • Assist with deposition preparation
  • Organize and maintain trial/arbitration binders
  • Coordinate logistics for trials and arbitrations, including managing on-site document needs, witness coordination, and supporting attorneys in real-time trial preparation.
  • Conduct legal research using Westlaw or similar platforms
  • Compile research findings into concise summaries or reports.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • At least 5 years of complex commercial litigation experience from the state and federal level
  • At least 3 years of experience handling data in eDiscovery platforms such as Relativity, Logikcull, or similar tools.
  • Advanced proficiency in MS Office
  • Experience with Adobe Acrobat
  • Familiarity with iManage, SharePoint (document libraries), ShareFile
  • Experience with PACER, CM/ECF, and other state e-filing systems.
  • Skilled in Bluebooking and cite-checking for submissions in federal district courts.
