Senior Hardware Engineer – Medical Devices (Contract | Denver, CO)

1099 Contract | On-site

Denver Metro Area (Candidates MUST be located or able to relocate to this location)

Hire Circle is working with a cutting-edge product engineering company in search of a Senior Hardware Engineer to join a collaborative and high-performing team focused on next-gen medical device development.

This is an urgent hire for a full-time 1099 contract role with the potential to convert to permanent. The role requires on-site presence at a local medical technology firm as they prepare for verification and validation testing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Running engineering confidence testing on new circuit designs
• Performing EMC scans and characterization testing
• Complex protocol analysis (CANBUS, Gigabit Ethernet, LVDS, ADCs)
• Working hands-on with the customer on hardware functionality
• Developing test protocols and reports
• Collaborating across electrical, firmware, software, and program teams

What You’ll Need

• BS or higher in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
• 10+ years in hardware design and development
• Deep experience with analog/digital circuit design, power management, and signal integrity
• Strong understanding of microcontrollers and protocols (I2C, SPI, UART, Ethernet)
• Familiarity with EMI/EMC, thermal management, and DFM/DFT best practices
• Bonus: Verification testing experience
