Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager

The Role: As the Sales Development Representative (SDR) Manager, you will hire, develop, and coach a team of high-performing SDRs. In this role, you’ll be responsible for generating qualified sales meetings for enterprise account executives. You’ll also play a critical role in mentoring and preparing SDRs to become world-class sales professionals. The ideal candidate will have experience driving pipeline generation, leading sales development teams and working cross-functionally with sales and marketing teams.

The Location: Morrisville NC, Scottsdale AZ, and NYC

The Requirements:

  • 2+ years in an SDR organization with 1+ year in SDR leadership
  • Proficiency in SDR technology such as SalesLoft, Outreach, Orum, 6sense, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and ZoomInfo
  • Track record of executing an outbound sales strategy that involves multichannel outreach tracked heavily by input/output metrics
  • Passion for attracting, developing, retaining world-class talent early in their sales career

The Requirements:

  • Hire, coach, and motivate a high-performing team of 8+ SDRs who consistently exceed aggressive goals and will become future AEs at Varonis
  • Use data to ensure your team is hitting daily pipeline targets and complying with SLAs, address underperformance and reward excellence
  • Regularly audit outbound prospecting activity to ensure the team is engaging effectively with the right accounts
  • Foster a strong relationship with your field sales counterparts by communicating updates and gathering feedback on pipeline development, staffing, and meeting quality
  • Engage with SDR team leads, managers, and SDRs to share best practices in multi-channel outbound prospecting techniques
  • Work closely with marketing to ensure campaign success while providing input on new campaign development
  • Provide mentorship and direction on career growth opportunities for SDRs
