Retail Manager
Location: All Front Climbing Club Gyms
Schedule: Full-time (40 hours/week)
Salary: $55,000/year + Commissions based on adjusted gross profit growth

The Front Climbing Club is looking for a dynamic Retail Manager to oversee our in-gym retail operations across all locations. You'll play a pivotal role in crafting a retail environment that reflects our vibrant climbing community while leading with innovation, customer care, and operational excellence.

What You'll DoLead daily retail operations across all gym locations to ensure a consistent, top-tier customer experience
Cultivate a customer-first sales culture that builds trust and loyalty
Support and mentor gym staff to boost product knowledge and confidence in sales
Manage inventory, conduct audits, and coordinate with buying and accounting teams to maintain stock and optimize POS systems
Collaborate with Marketing, Membership, and Gym Management to drive retail engagement and boost revenue through member perks and campaigns
Plan seasonal product rotations, merchandise layouts, and promotions that highlight the latest in climbing gear and outdoor style
Play a key role in strategic retail planning and performance improvements
Bachelor's degree in business, hospitality, or related field
10+ years of professional experience with 3-5 years in retail management (preferably in climbing, outdoor, or lifestyle spaces)
Strong familiarity with climbing gear, outdoor equipment, and activewear
Analytical and tech-savvy-comfortable with Excel formulas, pivot tables, and troubleshooting
A creative eye for merchandising and space optimization
Proven collaborator who thrives in cross-functional teams and fast-paced environments
Passionate about process improvement, team development, and customer experience
