Continue with Google 3 days ago Be among the first 25 applicants Role: Indirect Tax Consultant Location: Prague Salary: 75,000 - 80,000 CZK per month Our Indirect Tax Consultants support clients worldwide with VAT obligations, including compliance, advisory services, and e-commerce consultancy. We seek tax professionals to manage diverse client portfolios. As an Indirect Tax Consultant, you will provide advice on VAT regulations, cross-border transactions, and ensure VAT law compliance. Key Responsibilities Provide VAT consultancy and business advice to your client portfolio. Calculate and file European VAT returns accurately and promptly. Advise clients on VAT liabilities, payments, and compliance with filings, EC Sales, and Intrastat reporting. Communicate with tax offices regarding client accounts and obligations. Conduct VAT audits/investigations in collaboration with tax authorities. Manage client accounts with the Credit Control Department and stay updated on VAT laws. Provide excellent customer service to build trust and relationships. Represent the company at events/webinars. Support and train new team members. Collaborate with team members and suggest improvements. Essential Qualifications Experience in Law, VAT, Accountancy, or Finance. Strong communication skills for client interaction (Email, Phone, face-to-face). Native Czech or Slovak speaker with proficient English. Ability to work well independently and in a team. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Organized, able to work under pressure, meet deadlines. Multi-tasking skills. Desirable ~ Experience or knowledge of International E-Commerce.
