College Admissions Writing Tutor

We’re currently looking for superstar tutors who can help assist our growing number of College Readiness students.

As a College Admissions Writing Tutor , you will provide one-on-one support to high school students as they draft and polish their college application résumé and essays. Workshops and administrative tasks are also required.

What you’ll be responsible for:

• Thorough understanding of writing mechanics
• Exceptional grammatical, creative writing, and editing skills
• Strong communication and time management skills
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and work independently
• Ability to encourage brainstorming and to mentor students through the writing process
• Flexibility, initiative, and problem-solving skills

What you should offer:

• Willingness to commute within the local metropolitan area
• Minimum commitment of 10 hours a week, mostly evenings and weekends
• 1-year commitment
• Minimum of 60 college credit hours required
